my AFK (Action For Kids), one of my local charities which works with disabled children and young people, have recently launched a charity cookbook called ‘Neighbourhood Nosh – the best of N8’. It includes recipes from a number of Crouch End restaurants including Monkey Nuts, Café Beam, Miranda Café, Little Mercies, Florians 2 and The Queens – plus two from community contributors, including me!
All proceeds of the book go to the charity and I’m really delighted to be part of such a good cause, and among such good company.
I chose to do my Thai red curry stir-fry, which is one of my staples, but the book also includes recipes from Turkey, Spain, Sweden, Italy, France, the USA and back to Britain.
If you are based near Crouch End you can buy it from the following shops:
- House of Books
- Season Cookshop
- Gift
- Little Paris
- Rhoda
You can also buy it from the my AFK site.
