These gorgeous bites are made with Christmas mincemeat and ground almonds – lighter than a mince pie, so delicious and so much fun!
Makes 5 (I did a mini batch but feel free to upscale the quantity) 3 dessert spoons ground almonds 2 dessert spoons sweet mincemeat 5 gyoza wrappers Oil to fry Icing sugar -Combine the almonds and mincemeat. -Wet the rim of a gyoza wrapper -Place a heaped teaspoon of the mixture in the centre the fold over the wrapper to make a half moon. -Seal the edges -Place on a plate dusted with cornflour -Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a lidded frying pan over a medium heat for a couple of minutes or until the bottom is golden. -Add a splash of water to the pan (approx 50-75ml), place the lid on and cook for 3-4 minutes or until the water has absorbed and the gyoza is cooked. -Remove from the pan, dust with icing sugar and DEVOUR!
