Last Sunday I took my Thai-inspired sauces to market. I gave myself a seemingly impossible deadline of getting them out before Christmas, and somehow I managed to do it!
The kitchen might be overrun with a million jars, and the laundry like some volcanic eruption, but at least we have sauce.
I chose Ally Pally Farmer’s Market, not only because I’m a regular and love it, but also because it’s on my doorstep. One of the main reasons for the soft-launch was to get feedback from strangers (ie not my mum and dad!), and I was overwhelmed with the response.
The flavours are Tamarind Ketchup (sweet and tangy with a hint of roasted chilli), Jalapeño & Lime (hot and zesty) and Hot & Sour (hot with a garlicky lime kick).
The branding and name are still TBC but I will be getting everything ready in the new year and will keep you posted on where they will be available.
If you want to find out when they launch for real then you can add yourself to my saucy mailing list here.
The Tamarind Ketchup is now available to buy online.
